Adult Education Opportunities

Learning doesn't stop when we leave school or university. Further education offers adults the chance to gain new skills, improve their careers, and enrich their personal lives, opening doors to new opportunities.

In further education programs, you can choose from a wide variety of subjects. From vocational training and professional development to creative arts and academic courses.

Birmingham Adult Education Services

Birmingham Adult Education Service (BAES) is Birmingham City Council’s provider of education for Adults with a focus on qualifications up to and including level 2 (GCSE equivalent). It providers training and course for people to gain skills and qualifications for work, but also providers non-qualification courses which support health and wellbeing.

Finding more advanced qualifications

If you are seeking more advanced qualifications, UACB Education is a Birmingham based company that works with the Council’s PURE project, provides free support to help you get started on your journey into university. They can provide support around CVs, Statement writing support, Interview Support, Student finance support, signposting for employment and training opportunities.
