At Harmony Daycare we are providing day care services for all older people in the community. The areas covered are Saltley, Newtown, Washwood Heath, Aston, Edgbaston, Balsall Heath these are a few of the areas that we cover but we are City Wide.

We operate 5 days per week Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm

We offer workshops on the aging process such as Stroke, Cancer Diabetes and Dementia.

We provide hot meals that are Culturally sensitive to meet individual needs, local trips and Birthday celebrations.

We will try to support carers by offering a flexible service and transport to take users to and from the centre. Also for those who are unable to attend we would provide a meal if needed.

The intended target group is older people with mild dementia, those suffering from mental ill health Physical disability and others suffering multiple illness as a result of the ageing process.

The service on offer is African Caribbean centred but is available to all.

Present users include suffering mental ill health, stroke, heart attacks, hearing and sight impairment. Staff and Management Committee Members regard contact with carers as a vital part of their work
