Headway Birmingham & Solihull supports people with acquired brain injury (ABI), their families, and carers, helping them move forward with recovery and daily life. The charity offers a wide range of activities and specialist services to support social rehabilitation, wellbeing, and independence.

Activities & Support

  • SFA Club (Services For All): social activities, lunch clubs, outings, workshops, online sessions, and outdoor activities.

  • 3R’s Programmes: structured group activities to build skills, confidence, and community participation.

  • Therapy & Wellbeing: physiotherapy, speech & language therapy, and other support services.

  • Lifestyle & Community Enablement: 1‑to‑1 support to develop daily living skills, pursue personal goals, and access community activities.

Family & Carer Support

  • Information, advice, and hospital link work.

  • Support groups, training, and social events for families and carers.

The charity works closely with local health and social care partners and is open to self or professional referrals.
