Communitea Cafe is our warm, accessible café hub located in the heart of Boldmere High Street, created with a simple ethos: to offer healthy, affordable food for everyone. Since opening the Boldmere café in 2017, it has flourished, and in 2021 we proudly opened our second Communitea Café at the Hawkesley Community Centre in Kings Norton.

It is a friendly, inclusive and dog-friendly community hub where people of all ages can come together to enjoy supportive, meaningful activities. We host a rich programme of free social events designed to reduce loneliness, boost wellbeing, and create stronger, more connected communities. Activities include:

• Mother and baby groups with a resident storyteller

• Chair yoga
• Games afternoons
• Book club
• Tinnitus support group
• Knitting group
