Friends First- Selly Oak Library

Are you looking to get out more and meet like-minded people?
Are you feeling bored and not sure how to fill your time?
Does it feel like you don’t talk to people a lot?

Our Friends First Community Group every fortnight every first Monday of the month 11:30 am - 1 pm at Selly Oak Library (part of TouchBase Pears) is a great way to get out and socialise and make new friends in a safe local space!

If you are not feeling confident enough to go out and meet new people can support you to start to build your confidence and social
network by:
Finding local activities that match your interests.
Providing support from a friendly volunteer; from telephone calls to accompanying you to groups and even just going for a walk around
your neighbourhood.

There is a lovely cafe based in the building, if you wish to purchase a drink whilst attending the group.

There is a car park located behind the building and is accessed by Selly Wharf, entry is controlled by barriers and intercom system.

Selly Oak train station is a 2 minute walk away.

Buses run regularly throughout the day stopping on the Bristol road, Elilot road and the train station.
