Ham radio group with working radio stations. We are based at the Westheath Community Centre. Training classes for obtaining a licence. Open evenings, contests, social events and a coffee morning.


All contribute to social participation. We have open club nights Friday evenings from 19:30, We have our very successful coffee morning from 10:30 on a Tuesday and construction/maintenance on a Thursday afternoon.

Amateur Radio licence training classes are ad hoc, please contact G8OWL to discuss. We take take part in various RSGB contests throughout the calendar.

We are a diverse group with many different roles, whether your interests lie in operation, logging, engineering, logistics or just bouncing ideas around the members in the room you will be welcome.
