The Birmingham Carers Hub is a partnership of local not‑for‑profit organisations providing free, citywide support for unpaid carers of all ages. Whether you care for someone with a disability, long‑term illness, dementia, frailty, addiction, or mental health condition, the Hub offers practical help, emotional support, and tailored guidance.
What the Birmingham Carers Hub Provides
Free Registration & Easy Access to Support
- Carers can register for free to access the full range of services.
- Support is available to anyone providing care, even for just a couple of hours a week—no benefits required.
Carers Assessments
- Free, holistic Carers Assessments to identify your needs and create a support plan.
- Available for carers supporting adults aged 18+.
Information, Advice & Guidance
- Support Workers give advice on:
- Social care
- Benefits and full benefits checks
- Specialist organisations and services
- Equipment, respite, leisure, housing, and more
- Confidential helpline for carers needing guidance or simply a listening ear.
Community-Based Mini Hubs
- Face‑to‑face appointments and assessments offered across Birmingham via partner organisations including:
