This is a service within a service. Provides older adults with the opportunity to learn a new skill or develop their existing craft, as well as make new friends, deepen existing friendships, whilst enjoying lovely refreshments. The group have created a social enterprise whilst maintaining social inclusion for themselves. The group knit toys and donate these to charities - they work closely with the Children's Hospital, as well as sending toys to third world countries. They also sell toys at church and community events giving proceeds to the Foodbank. Donations of wool and knitting needles,etc, are always welcome.
