StereoHype Social

StereoHype Social is a fortnightly meet-up for creatives with lived experienced of mental health problems where they can share their work, collaborate, learn, and build friendships.

It has been running since 2022 in venues across Birmingham, with funding from the Peoples Health Trust, and is currently based at the Warehouse Café in the city centre.

During that time nearly forty people have been supported to create new work, with the help of our team and with professional artists including singer Call Me Unique, poet Su Brown and rapper Trademark Blud.

We are also now providing additional sessions for people with more acute mental health needs who are living in the community or leaving hospital or secure mental health care.

We will be delivering new sessions in the Autumn and if you, a friend, or family member are interested in joining either group please email us helloredearth@gmail.com

THE RED EARTH COLLECTIVE

We are a Black-led organisation that works with artists and communities with lived experience of mental health issues.

Together we use the arts to challenge mental health stigma and discrimination in racialised and marginalised communities.
