Lickey Hills Society
Weekly Guided walk. Occasional litter picks, balsam bashes and other activities to help the rangers in the country park.
A lot of things they do are linked to improving the Country Park - providing equipment, planting trees in the community orchards, funding information boards etc.
Activities they run are all free!
- A weekly walk - Thursday mornings starting at 10.30am at the Visitor Centre, Lickey Hills Country Park, Warren Lane B45 8ER. Last about an hour, usually within the Country Park. The pace is gentle, but the park is hilly and at times muddy. So suitable clothing and footwear.
- A spring and autumn litter pick over the summer they run balsam bashes on Saturday mornings - clearing an invasive species. Relatively easy to pull up by hand - no need for tools.
