P&C funded project will help with Happy Healthy Tuesday, which are weekly sessions for all residents to support the wellbeing of our community. The sessions will be delivered by instructors and residents. These will include boxing and mindfulness walks.

Creative space

This will be weekly sessions which will be led by local people who will be sharing their skills which will include sewing, knitting, crocheting, diamond art, paining and cooking. The activities also provide a social and supportive element to all. Although open to all, sessions are predominantly women.

The Men’s group for the men in our community which has a male worker. During these sessions they take part in craft activities, cook, and enjoy a breakfast each week. This is a new area of work after we noticed support for our older males in the community, many of whom are experiencing loss and bereavement, loneliness, and isolation.

All the above can be self-referred or invited along by current members. We do accept external agency referrals. All activities at the Hubb are Free of charge.

Alongside all the above we will hold a community day once a year for all citizens of Ward End themes identified by them.
