Advocacy Matters is a charity which has provided independent advocacy support in Birmingham and Walsall since 2002 . We provide Independent Advocacy support to over 1000 vulnerable adults and young people in Birmingham and Walsall every year.

We aim to provide vulnerable people with an independent advocate to ensure individuals are heard & their rights, concerns & needs are acted upon.

Advocacy Matters provides both statutory and community-based advocacy projects.

We empower our advocacy partners, ensuring that they have a say in their lives and about the issues that matter to them. Advocacy supports inclusion and social justice.

Advocacy Matters have the support of trained, vetted, dedicated and passionate staff and volunteers.

Advocacy Matters vision of the future is for a fully inclusive society where vulnerable people’s rights are upheld, their needs and wishes acted on and where their lives are fulfilling and active.
