South Birmingham Stroke Group

The club was set up in 2008 and is entirely volunteer run. It is open to anyone who has had a stroke or TIA and their families and carers. We have a varied programme of events and activities throughout the year. All our activities aim to improve the health and wellbeing of stroke survivors and carers. Northfield Stroke Club meets every Wednesday morning from 10.00am to 12 noon, at Reaside Community Centre, Frankley, Birmingham B45 0JD.

It is a place where stroke survivors can relax and ‘be themselves’ The building is fully accessible and there is an ample car park. We charge £3 per week which covers refreshments and entry into our weekly raffle. Additional charges are made for some external trips, although some are covered or subsidised. Members can use the Ring and Ride service, this applies to those people living within the South Birmingham area.
