Sutton Coldfield Muslim Association began by meeting in local family homes for Friday and Eid prayers.  As the community grew they contributed to the purchase of the Old Court House.  They now have a full-time imam and hold regular daily prayers and classes.  The association also has community events such as a Ladies Social Group called Dhosti and regularly take part in fundraising for charity. The SCMA also welcomes people who may wish to volunteer their time to help run the centre.  The SCMA aims to support local people to meet their religious, social, health and cultural well-being .
