Tai Chi in the Park

If you are looking to get involved with a healthy outdoor activity this year, why not try out Tai Chi & Qi Gong? It involves gentle exercise that combines breathing and relaxation with slow movements, proven to have benefits for both physical and mental health. No previous experience is necessary and it’s free – so why not give it a go?

When and where: Weekly sessions available across Birmingham parks (See list of parks below)

Kings Heath Park, 10am – 11am
Stirchley Park, 1.00pm – 2.00pm
Westley Vale, 3.15pm – 4.15pm
 
Tuesday:
Nettlefold Garden, 10am – 11am (£3 per session)
Handsworth Park, 10.30am – 11.30am
Cofton Park, 10.30am – 11.30am (Donations)
Sorrel Park, 1pm – 2pm (session currently paused**)
 
Wednesday:
Perry Hall Park, 10am – 11am
Sheldon Park, 10.30am – 11.30am
Windermere Road Fields, 11am – 12pm
Manor Farm Park, 12.30pm – 1.30pm 
Queens Park, 1.30pm – 2.30pm
 
Thursday:
