The Towers Bowling Club
The Towers Bowling Club is situated on a very busy main road; a good place to be. The Club was established some 100+ years ago and welcomes people of all ages, ethnicities and genders; it is very diverse.
We meet 5 times a week and are looking to expand our Club due to numbers, unfortunately, falling after the pandemic. Crown Green Bowling is considered one of the best forms of exercise, and perfect for the elderly within our Club, and it allows them to engage with the younger Members, and vice versa. All ages learn from each other whilst enjoying their favourite sport. The Club also invites those who are lonely/single and at home to come to the green and bowl as a Member whenever they wish, non-bowlers must attend with a Member.

The group plays weekly league matches and participates in county and in-house competitions – open to all in the Club who wish to participate.
Members make friends over the years not just within our Club, but with Members of other Clubs too – these friendships have been known to last a lifetime. The sport is aimed at the whole community, there is no differentiation – all are welcome at The Towers Bowling Club.
