Karis Neighbour - Men's Space

Our Men’s Space project helps isolated men over the age of 50 to feel connected and supported. We use activities such as walking, cycling, DIY, woodwork, model making, badminton, tennis, snooker and darts, as well as ideas suggested by our participants, to help provide opportunities for building friendships, connecting with others and feeling a sense of purpose. We aim to help every man to feel connected, supported and thrive in life.

Men's Space currently runs three projects;

Board Games on Mondays at St Germain's Church Hall 1.30pm - 2.30pm

Table Tennis Thursdays at Ladywood Leisure Centre (term time) 11am - 1pm

Allotment Spaces, one at Christ Church Summerfield and the other at Parker Street - Weather depended.

Men's Space also meets 1-2-1 with clients for mentoring and support.

If interested in any of these sessions or the Men's Space project in general, contact Edd Stock at edd.stock@karisneighbourscheme.org
