We have an activity through the week which is welcoming and free to attend. Current activity includes: Place of welcome- come and meet us and have a coffee and a chat, Memory Cafe, digital support and a gardening group. Do come and join us to make friends, share skills, learn new ones and have fun!
St Francis is a thriving church in the centre of Bournville. We hold weekly Sunday services as well as weekly communion services.
Weekly Activities include...
Memory Cafe
Wednesday 12:30pm - 2:30pm (term time only)
A weekly group aimed at those living with dementia, as well as those who care for people with dementia. The session includes arts, crafts and games - including free refreshments.
Place of Welcome
Thursday 10:30am - 12:00pm
Everyone is welcome to drop in. A fantastic place to meet people and connect with others. Some of the activities include, crocheting and knitting, board and cards games including occasional guest speakers. The place of welcome also includes a digital lending library which includes tablets and wifi hotspots for free - up to 12 weeks. To further support people with their digital needs, we hold free digital workshops every week where you can learn basic internet skills, staying safe online and more.
St Francis Lunch Club
Friday - 10:30am - 2:30pm (term time only)
A group for those who may find it difficult to leave the house but who enjoy getting together for food and fun activities.

Garden Group
Friday - 1:00pm - 3:00pm (every other week)
A bi-weekly gardening group open to anyone, regardless of ability or experience. We are keen to work with nature and encourage people to engage with their natural habitat
