Age UK Birmingham offers free and independent Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) service for Birmingham citizens aged 50 and over.  

Our expert advisers can provide IAG on a broad range of services, including; state pension, welfare benefits, housing options, health and social care, wills/LPAs, transport options and consumer issues. 

We can help complete forms (e.g. State Pension, Pension credit, Attendance allowance, Personal independence payment, Blue Badge, Housing/Council Tax Support, etc.), make telephone calls and write letters if needed (including mandatory reconsiderations). All forms are completed by pre-booked appointments only.

We accept self-referrals as well as referrals from professionals and family members. If we are unable to help you, we will put you in touch with someone who can.

• Stratford House, Stratford Place. B12 0HT - Monday to Friday 9:30am - 3:30pm 
• Deelands Hall Community Centre. Rubery, B45 9RR - alternate Fridays 9.30 – 2.30pm
