Disability Resource Centre
This service will benefit citizens of Birmingham with physical disabilities and/or neurological conditions/acquired brain injury. We recognise from our current delivery that many people we support have more than one presenting condition/disability but the primary disability will be the aforementioned groups (e.g. many people with physical disabilities also present with poor mental health). The service is delivered agilely over telephone, face to face, virtually, in the community and in peoples homes and is delivered to meet demand. This is a free, citywide service provided to anyone who meets the criteria and the service can accept professional and self-referrals.

Headway Birmingham & Solihull
A charity which provides on-going services which are designed to enable brain injured people and their families and carers to move on with the next stage of their lives.
We offer a wide programme of activities and specialist services aimed at recovery and social rehabilitation. We also work with the whole family and professionals to provide information, hospital link work, community enablement and the opportunity to join social events with others going through similar experiences. We work closely with our health and social care colleagues and other agencies to ensure services are as seamless as possible, and we can provide this help right through the support pathway.
