Food4u currently operates only on a Tuesday but we have seen a significant increase in demand. Supporters who have donated food in the past but have been unable to continue to do so have been giving money instead which allows us to buy food and toiletries to supplement donated items. All donations are welcome.

Food4U opens on a Tuesday each week between 11.30am and 1.30pm. These sessions are attended by people in need of food from the Sutton Coldfield area and are usually referred to us by organisations like the Job Centre, Social Services, Homestart, etc.

We are able to welcome people, offer them a warm drink, a bowl of soup and a bread roll and provide a bag of food for them to take away. The needs of people vary depending upon their situation. We, hopefully, also provide some advice, encouragement and support in addition to the food.
