• The support group meets on the last Tuesday of every month at 1.15pm at Holy Trinity RC Church, 69 Lichfield Road, Sutton Coldfield, B74 2NU. 
• The Sutton Coldfield group is managed by Focus Birmingham and they can be contacted on 0121 478 5200. 
• They are offering a befriending telephone service. Buddy System and Video calling available. Befrienders must suffer from, or have an understanding of, macular degeneration. Not suitable for the general public.

National Support available

• The Macular Society is a national service with a range of help and support available;
• Helpline 0300 303 0111, Counselling, Patient Information, Telephone Befriending, Treatment Buddies, Skills for Seeing and Gadget Guides.
• Some of the services are available via the helpline and some through local groups. 
• There is a also a Virtual Group that meets via skype - Skype Name - maculargroup  Meetings as required - every 6/8 weeks.  Please email amanda.read@macularsociety.org for meeting times and to join.
