We want to be 'good news' in our local neighbourhood and to reflect the faithfulness, generosity and openness of the god in whom we believe and encounter in Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to all who are seeking meaning, community and belonging.  The Church of the ascension building is open for Sunday worship every week at 10.15am Our worship service is always a eucharist (holy communion) but the style varies.  The monthly family service is at 12 noon on the last sunday of each month.  Little Pineapples every Thursday at 9.30am, weekly stay and play for toddlers.  Places of Welcome every Thursday at 11.30am, for all ages.  YouthZone every Friday at 5.30pm for young people aged 11-14.
