Walmley Cricket & Sports Club
- Walmley Cricket Club was founded in 1886 and is now entering an exciting new phase as Walmley Cricket and Sports Club. It is a community based, family-friendly club a few minutes walk from the centre of Walmley.
- Alongside the thriving cricket section running cricket for ages 4 to the over 40s, the club is expanding over the next twelve months to a year round sports club. The first addition is Walmley Football Club, which has its first team in the 2018-19 season.
- They play in the Birmingham and District Cricket League and the Warwickshire Cricket League.
- Now open for 1:1 sessions and coaching - book in advance with the club.
- Walmley Cricket Club runs five senior sides on a Saturday and two sides on a Sunday all playing league cricket.
- They also hold Badminton and Table Tennis at Plantsbrook School on a Friday night, start time depends on age category.
- Walmley Sports Club also has a vibrant social scene. We run events, from a New Years Eve party to a Caribbean Night to a Cricket Festival, throughout the year and we welcome new social members.
