Handsworth Library is a well-known and well-loved community space based on Soho Road. The library opens 4 days per week:  

Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays – 9am-1pm | 2pm-5pm

Thursdays – 10am-1pm | 2pm-6pm

All are welcome to use the warm space. Registration is only required to borrow books or to use a computer. The library has 22 computers available for use. At the rear of the library you will find the Newspaper table which is frequented by gents every morning and afternoon, the library's most loyal customers. Over 50s Exercise Class - Tuesdays 11am-12pm

Cost of Living and Debt advice - Tuesdays 10am–4pm

Make and Take Craft Class - Thursdays 11am-12.30pm (£2 per session)

Ladies Punjabi Dance - Fridays 11am-12pm

Ladies English class - Fridays 12pm-1pm 

Colouring for Mindfulness - Fridays 2.30-4.30pm

Singing for Brain with the Alzheimer's Society - Second Friday of the month 10.30am-12pm
