Birmingham Progressive Synagogue is an integral part of the Jewish community in Birmingham but is also at the forefront of interfaith work in Birmingham. We are welcoming, open and forward-looking. We engage with society as we find it, and lead from the front. We play an active role in building collaboration across the Jewish community and with other faiths and causes.  The Synagogue is part of the Liberal Jewish movement. We value tradition and all that is good within Judaism and combine it with innovation and forward thinking to provide a secure future for our community and our neighbours. BPS is a welcoming place, hosting all sorts of lively community events.
